About

Tom's Campground is a 55-acre rural Wisconsin campground nestled into a hillside overlooking a pasture and trout stream near Dodgeville. The property has deep historical roots, having been homesteaded over 100 years ago and remaining in the Thomas family for generations. A notable stone cottage on the grounds was built by Halvor Knutson from stone quarried on-site, and a fresh spring still flows behind it. The campground offers a rustic experience with modern amenities including pull-through and back-in RV sites with 30 and 50 amp service, tent sites, a rustic miners cabin, showers, flush toilets, and free WiFi. Located with easy access from U.S. Highway 151, State Highway 191, and County BB, the campground operates seasonally from mid-April through November and welcomes daily and weekly visitors.
