Timber Ridge Horse Campground and Cabin Rentals is a specialized equestrian facility located adjacent to the Big South Fork National Recreation Area in Jamestown, Tennessee. The campground is uniquely positioned as the only facility with direct access to Big South Fork trails, offering over 200 miles of premier horseback riding opportunities. The property features 24 campsites with electric and water hookups, three cabin rentals, a 50-stall barn with 6 corrals for horses, and modern amenities including a clean shower house and large covered deck with kitchen facilities. Visitors can enjoy a variety of horse trails ranging from easy to challenging, with scenic overlooks, creek crossings, rock bluffs, and caves throughout the natural beauty of Tennessee. The campground is owner-operated by Susan Riggan and Eric Brandt, who provide a welcoming atmosphere for both experienced horse campers and those new to the facility.
