Tico Time River Resort is a unique 74-acre Costa Rican-inspired RV park located just 20 minutes south of Durango, Colorado, along the Animas River. This one-of-a-kind resort combines traditional RV camping with adventure activities and resort amenities, offering something distinctly different from typical RV parks in the Four Corners region. Guests can choose from full hookup RV sites accommodating vehicles up to 60 feet, tent camping, backstage bungalows, or furnished tiny homes. The resort features numerous free activities including an 18-hole disc golf course, 130-foot waterslide, 25-foot waterslide jump, stand-up paddleboarding, beach volleyball, and river access for fishing. Adventure tours are also available, including a 60-foot challenge course, river tubing on the Animas River, and zipline experiences. The property includes three swimming ponds with sand beaches, a dog park, beach pavilion, and serves as an event venue for weddings and group retreats.
