About

Located in the far western Santa Monica Mountains, Point Mugu State Park features five miles of ocean shoreline with rocky bluffs, sandy beaches, sand dunes, rugged hills and uplands, two major river canyons, and wide grassy valleys. The park offers two campgrounds: Sycamore Canyon Campground and Thornhill Broome Campground. Thornhill Broome Campground allows truck and trailer combinations up to 31 feet and camper/motorhomes up to 31 feet. The park is 15 miles south of Oxnard on Highway One, and visitors can make same-day reservations for campsites and lodging.
