Taylor Ferry South is a heavily wooded campground located on Fort Gibson Lake, offering abundant shade and a peaceful setting for rest and relaxation. Conveniently situated off Highway 51 near Wagoner, Oklahoma, the campground provides easy access to the main body of the lake's nearly 20,000 acres for water activities. The area features an oak-hickory forest with a rocky shoreline that has a gradual slope for easy water access, plus a man-made sandy swim beach with playground equipment across the highway. The campground operates year-round with 95 sites, 89 of which have electric hookups, and amenities including flush and pit toilets, drinking water, showers, a dump station, and a boat ramp. Nearby stores and marinas offer supplies and equipment rentals, while boat and RV storage are available within a mile of the campground.
