It is a 45+ age-restricted community, originally created as a RV park but now primarily consisting of Park Model mobile homes, many with room additions. The resort is located 5 minutes from Show Low Lake and has easy access to over 50 lakes and streams. There are seven golf courses in the area, and the region boasts over 120 miles of trails for hiking and biking. During the winter months, skiing is available just over an hour away at Sunrise Park. The resort is also close to Summit Regional Hospital and the regional airport, with scheduled flights available between Show Low and Phoenix Sky Harbor airport. The area has a rich history, with the town of Show Low named after a game of cards between Marion Clark and Corydon E. Cooley, where Cooley won the ranch by saying 'Show Low' when he turned the deuce of clubs.
