Tall Oaks Camp is a 501(c)3 organization that has been serving campers, families, and guests since the 1950s, offering over 55 years of experience in youth camping. Located on a peninsula of the beautiful Big Star Lake in Baldwin, Michigan, the camp features approximately 3/4 mile of lake frontage. The facility operates as both a summer youth camp and a public campground, with the campground open to the public when kids camp is not in session. The camp emphasizes outdoor experiences with greater than 80% of daily activities spent outdoors, fostering community, belonging, and adventure while nurturing character development through the Six Pillars of Character: Fairness, Caring, Citizenship, Trustworthiness, Respect, and Responsibility. The camp provides a safe, inclusive environment where children can explore nature, discover their strengths, develop lifelong skills, and create cherished memories.
