Talkeetna RV LLC & Boat Launch is a dry campground located in the rural community of Talkeetna, Alaska, conveniently within walking distance to town while offering wooded campsites next to the Talkeetna River. The park provides a true nature camping experience with riverfront and wooded sites, each equipped with fire-pits and picnic tables. Potable water is available at the main office, and the facility features indoor showers, bathrooms, and outhouses throughout the park, all handicap accessible. The park operates on a first-come, first-serve basis with no reservations, and offers additional services including a boat launch with a large parking lot, free life vests, tackle and snacks, and trip bookings for fishing charters, river trips, and flightseeing. The quaint town of Talkeetna features historic buildings, downtown shops, the Alaska Railroad depot, and Talkeetna Airport, providing visitors with plenty of activities and attractions.
