About
Located in the far western Santa Monica Mountains, Point Mugu State Park features five miles of ocean shoreline with rocky bluffs, sandy beaches, sand dunes, rugged hills and uplands, two major river canyons, and wide grassy valleys. The park is home to the Sycamore Canyon Campground and Thornhill Broome Campground, offering trailer and camper/motorhome sites up to 31 feet in length. Visitors can enjoy the beach, explore the park's trails, and take in the stunning views of the coastline. The park is located 15 miles south of Oxnard on Highway One, and is easily accessible by car. Day use and entry fees apply, with special rates for peak season and high demand holiday periods.
