Dakota Prairie Grasslands offers many natural attractions to visitors. Each grassland provides a unique recreational experience. Choose a recreation opportunity or recreation region below, then scroll down to view and select from the list of related recreation sites. Recreation fees are collected for developed sites and facilities, such as campgrounds and day-use areas, to help maintain and improve services and facilities. Interagency Pass Discounts are available for Single Campsite fees only. The grasslands have various recreation opportunities including biking, fishing, hiking, horse riding and camping, hunting & shooting, outdoor science and learning, and water activities.
