Sugar Loafin' Campground is a family-owned and operated high mountain camping destination located at 10,000 feet elevation near historic Leadville, Colorado. Surrounded by scenic Colorado peaks, the campground sits just one mile from Turquoise Lake and offers access to abundant outdoor recreation including trout fishing in lakes and streams, hiking trails, rock hounding, jeep trails, boating, and mountain climbing. The campground features full and partial hookup RV sites with 30 and 50 amp service, tent sites under shady pine trees, and cabin accommodations. Amenities include warm shower facilities, laundry, a family recreation room with fireplace, playground, store, and nightly ice cream socials. The cool mountain climate rarely sees temperatures over 80 degrees, making it an ideal summer escape.
