About

Stieneke Area provides 15.5 acres on the east side of the Little Sioux River between Quimby and Washta, Iowa. The area features 5 primitive campsites available for $10 per night. Drinking water, fire pits, picnic tables, a picnic shelter, and restroom are provided. Hunting is permitted from October 1 through April 30. Fishing is popular in this stretch of the Little Sioux River for catfish and walleye. Also available is canoe/kayak access to the Inkpaduta Water Trail.
