Stateline Campground is located next to Stateline Reservoir on the northern slope of the Uinta Mountains at an elevation of 9,200 feet, approximately 21 miles from Mountain View, Wyoming. Part of the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest, this campground offers family sites equipped with picnic tables, campfire rings, and grills, with some sites featuring partial lake views. The area is covered by a thin forest of lodgepole pine, ponderosa pine, and aspen, with summer wildflowers and grasses dotting the landscape. Visitors can enjoy a variety of recreational activities including fishing for rainbow and cutthroat trout, canoeing, kayaking, boating, hiking, biking, horseback riding, and off-road vehicle trails. The nearby China Meadows Trailhead provides access to the High Uintas, and the surrounding region is known for its beautiful canyons, soaring peaks, pristine lakes, rivers, and streams. Wildlife viewing opportunities include moose and deer sightings around the lake.
