About
White Ranch Park is the largest park in the Jeffco Parks and Open Space system, covering over 20 miles of multi-use trails with both gentle and rugged terrain. The park features natural-surface trails, with the exception of two Sensitive Areas, including Ralston Buttes, which can be accessed only by permit. A 0.9 mile segment of the Longhorn Trail is designated as bike only, and one way use. The park also offers semi-primitive, tent-only, walk-in camping in designated sites at Sawmill and Sourdough Springs Campgrounds, available by online permit. Camping is limited to a total of six nights within a 30 day period. The park is open year-round, but Sourdough Springs Campground is closed from November 1 - March 31.
