Soggy Bottom Campground is a popular 350-acre family campground located in the heart of the Historic Far West Community in Caldwell County, near Cameron, Missouri. Once a working farm, the property now offers abundant family fun including camping, hiking, mountain biking, and fishing. The campground features 3 miles of Shoal Creek, the largest stream in Caldwell County, which early settlers used to power mills including the historic Fugitt Mill. A restored 1940s Kentucky Fire Tower, standing six stories tall and overlooking miles of Missouri woodlands, was erected on the property in 2012. Amenities include seasonal showers, Porta Johns, and a 320 square foot open-air shelter in the Prairie Hilltop RV area.
