Smith's Trout Haven is a family-friendly campground located about a mile west of downtown Lava Hot Springs, Idaho, offering a quiet countryside atmosphere while remaining close to local activities. The campground features 60 RV sites with electrical hookups, 14 tent sites, and 4 group sites, along with two playgrounds and wide open grassy areas for recreation. A highlight of the property is an on-site trout pond for fishing activities, where no license is required. The campground maintains a peaceful environment with strictly enforced quiet hours beginning at 10:00 PM and prohibits alcohol and pets. Water spigots and porta-potties are provided throughout the grounds. Open seasonally from the Thursday before Memorial Day through the Tuesday after Labor Day, Smith's Trout Haven provides the perfect setting for a weekend getaway with family or an extended family gathering.
