The Bivy area at Smith Rock State Park is a seasonal walk-in campground. It is open for camping from March 15 to November 15. The campground is available on a first-come-first-served basis, and reservations are not accepted. Overnight camping in vehicles, campers, and/or trailers is not allowed. The campground has tent sites located 150+ feet to the south of the campground parking area. The campground restrooms and showers are on the north side of the Bivy parking lot. Showers are available only to those registered in the campground and locked nightly. The campground has 3 ADA designated campsites. Quiet hours are between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM. An appliance recharging station is available by the communal sink area. Pets have to be on a leash no longer than six feet long, cannot be left unattended, and yes, their owners are required to clean up after them. The campground is surrounded by the beautiful scenery of Smith Rock State Park, with opportunities for hiking, climbing, and exploring the area.
