Slabtown Horse Camp LLC is an equine campground located in the Ozarks of Missouri. The campground has 27 campsites with electric and water at the sites, many of which are shaded and close to covered horse stalls. They also offer two rental cabins with electric and air conditioning. The camp is situated near the Mark Twain National Forest and the Paddy Creek Wilderness, offering access to trails that wind through hardwoods and pines, past unique rock formations, caves, and beautiful overlooks. Visitors can also cool their horses and themselves in the Big Piney River on hot summer days. The camp is open from March 15th to July 14th and August 18th to November 30th, with a 30-night maximum stay. Deposits are non-refundable, but can be transferred to an alternate date within the same calendar year. The camp does not rent or board horses.
