The Silver Lake Campground is located in the Medicine Bow-Routt National Forests & Thunder Basin National Grassland. The campground is situated in Northern Colorado, on the west side of the Routt National Forest, and is home to the Elkhead Mountains. The surrounding area offers scenic drives, hiking trails, and opportunities for fishing and hunting.
