The Showers Point Group Site is a popular place for groups to spend a weekend or an afternoon, offering shaded campsites, picnic areas, hiking and mountain biking trails, and scenic drives. Located at 7,700 feet in the Santa Catalina Mountains, the site features large, leveled tent pads and picnic shelters, with water faucets and toilets. Visitors can enjoy hiking through the Santa Catalina backcountry, fishing at nearby Rose Canyon Lake, and taking in the scenic views from the overlooks. The Coronado National Forest, which covers 1.78 million acres, offers diverse plant communities and elevations ranging from 3,000 to 10,720 feet. The site is well-suited for groups of up to 25 guests, with each site being tent-only.
