Shark Tooth Creek is a campground located in Greene County, AL, offering a unique experience for outdoor enthusiasts. For over 50 years, people from all over the country have visited the farm to hunt shark teeth and fossils in the creek. The area is believed to have been a barrier island 70 million years ago, and the shark teeth that wash up are from 16 different species of sharks. The campground features a pavilion with restrooms, showers, outdoor cooking facilities, and picnic tables, as well as a swimming area with a shaded pier and a floating trampoline. Visitors can also enjoy camping, fishing, and swimming. The campground is a popular destination for field trips, birthday parties, and family outings, and offers a guarantee that everyone will find shark teeth.
