Founded in 1973, Shamrock Park is a year-round campground located on the banks of the St. Joseph River in Berrien Springs, Michigan, owned and operated by the Village of Berrien Springs. Situated 10 miles off I-94 on Old US Highway 31, the park is just 12 miles from the city of St. Joseph and Lake Michigan's sandy beaches, and only 2 miles from Andrews University. The park features 124 total sites with modern restrooms and showers, a DNR-built boat ramp, fish cleaning station, and sanitary dump station—all with heated facilities available during winter. Shamrock Park is ideal for fishing enthusiasts targeting salmon, steelhead, walleye, and other species, with several privately operated charter boat services available on-site. The surrounding area offers numerous farm markets, u-pick orchards, and wineries to explore, making it a perfect base for both fishing adventures and agritourism activities.
