For nearly 100 years, this resort has offered exceptional lakeside cabins and spacious RV campsites spread across 30 acres. The resort is the only one on Lake Amelia, which spans over 950 acres and connects to Lake Villard for additional boating and fishing opportunities. Guests can enjoy quiet, comfortable facilities perfect for relaxation, with the resort known for its wonderful sunsets. The area offers six golf courses within 20 minutes, and the resort features a convenience store with live bait, tackle, and groceries. Open from May 1st through the first weekend in October, Shady Rest Resort is dedicated to excellence and has earned a reputation as one of Minnesota's favorite family vacation and fishing destinations.
