Shady Rest Campground is a family-friendly, year-round camping destination situated on 16 acres in the heart of the Endless Mountains of Northeast Pennsylvania, conveniently located just 3 miles from Interstate 81, Exit 211, midway between Scranton, PA and Binghamton, NY. The peaceful, mostly wooded setting offers a close-to-nature experience with 35 upgraded full hookup sites featuring water, sewer, and metered 30- and 50-amp electric service, accommodating RVs up to 40 feet in length. The campground caters to overnight travelers, vacationers, seasonal visitors, and winter retreats, with additional amenities including a dump station, Wi-Fi hotspots, laundry service, and firewood available for a fee. Primitive creek-side camping and tent sites are also available, and within walking distance is the scenic Tunkhannock Creek, ideal for swimming.
