The Second Beach Family Campground is located on Sachuest Point Road opposite the main parking lot of Sachuest (locally known as Second) Beach. The campground is bordered by the Sachuest Point National Wildlife Refuge and the access road to Third Beach. The seasonal rate is $7,955, our season runs May 1 through Columbus Day. Water, sewer and electric is included. The campground offers utilities such as electricity, sewer, and water hookups, as well as amenities like toilets, hot showers, ice locker, Wi-Fi, and coin op washer and dryers on site. Campground management is also on site. The area offers many amenities, including close proximity to many Newport, Middletown and Portsmouth restaurants and attractions, a fire pit on the campground green, hiking and bird watching at Norman Bird Sanctuary or Sachuest Point National Wildlife Refuge, picnic tables, a quiet beach side setting, shuffleboard, surfing at Surfers End location of Second Beach, a swing set for children, and walking access to Second and Third beaches.
