The campground offers 169 campsites spread across two large campgrounds plus a group camp, providing outstanding outdoor recreational opportunities. Visitors can enjoy camping, fishing, swimming, boating, water skiing, sailing, and kayaking on the reservoir. The facility is owned and operated by Nevada Irrigation District and features day use parks and beaches. Across the lake, the Cascade Shores Day Use Area is accessible via Red Dog and Quaker Hill Roads from Nevada City, offering additional recreational opportunities in this beautiful foothills setting.
