The City of Scotland, South Dakota offers camping facilities with six full service camping pads and eight electrical only camping pads. There are no reservations, sites are first come first serve at all times. The full service camping pads are located by the Scotland City Park and offer electrical hook-ups (50 and 30 amp), Water, Sewer, and a bath house facility. The electrical only camping pads are located by the ball fields along the Sixth Street fence line and offer electrical hook-ups (50 and 30 amp). The dump station is located just inside the ball field complex on Sixth Street. Fees for camping pads are $20 per night for full service and $10 per night for electrical only. Payment can be made at the payment stations near the camping pads or at the Finance Office. The city also has a Rubble Site for residents to dispose of certain types of waste, with specific hours and regulations.
