This lush, shaded campground sits on the banks of the Boardman River offering excellent paddling, fishing and bird watching opportunities. There are 30 sites for tent and small-to-medium trailer use. As a designated Blue Ribbon trout stream, the river offers unparalleled fishing opportunities, and its Natural River status ensures its continued preservation. The campground is a stop along the Shore-to-Shore Trail, a 420-mile trail system open to hiking and horseback riding, that stretches east-west from Empire to Oscoda with two additional northern and southern spur trails.
