Sandy Bottom Campground is a well-maintained RV and tent camping destination nestled in the Southern Black Hills near Hot Springs, South Dakota. Located just 2 miles from the scenic Angostura Reservoir, the campground offers panoramic views of the Black Hills, stunning sunsets, and starlit nights. The property features nine individual campsites with spacious 70-foot gravel pads, picnic tables, fire rings, and grassy areas. Six sites offer full hookup facilities with water, sewer, and electricity (20/30/50 AMP), while three primitive campsites accommodate tent camping with firepits, grills, picnic tables, and drinking water access. The campground serves as an ideal gateway to South Dakota's popular attractions, including Wind Cave National Park, Custer State Park, Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse Monument, and the Badlands. Nearby Hot Springs offers the Mammoth Site, Evans Plunge Mineral Springs, and an 18-hole golf course. The on-site store provides firewood, camping essentials, snacks, and food options.
