About
San Onofre State Beach is a popular park between Los Angeles and San Diego with three distinct parts and a world-renowned beach that hosts many international surfing competitions, including for the LA28 Summer Olympics. The beach is three miles south of San Clemente on I-5 (Basilone Road). Day use and entry fees apply, with special rates for peak season, high demand holiday periods, and weekends. The park has a campground with a maximum trailer length of 25 feet and camper/motorhome length of 25 feet. Visitors can explore the park's map and get directions through Google Maps. Brochures are available in English and Spanish, and a campground map is also available.
