About
The Boise National Forest offers a diverse range of recreation opportunities, including biking, fishing, hiking, horse riding and camping, hunting and shooting, off-highway vehicles, outdoor science and learning, picnicking, water activities, and winter sports. The Cascade Ranger District is the northernmost district on the forest, covering over 400,000 acres, while the Emmett Ranger District encompasses 350,000 acres and manages more than 150 camping units in 21 developed campgrounds.
