The Rock Cut State Park campground has 199 electric sites in 4 areas (Prairie View, White Oak, Plum Grove and Stag Horn) and 55 non-electric sites in the Hickory Hills area. The campground and all the park is alcohol free. There are two shower houses with flush toilets centrally located in the campground. The shower houses are open May 1-October 31. Rock Cut State Park Concessions does not operate or maintain the camp sites or any infrastructure within the campground. Camp site and shelter reservations can be made by visiting ExploreMoreIL. All campers must have a permit. Campers should purchase firewood on-site and burn it all or leave it for the next campers. While you are at the campground, do not forget to get out and explore the park! There is a lot outside the campground. Five shelters are available for reservations: West Lake, Bay View, Red Oak, Lions Club, and Puri Crest. All have electricity, restrooms, and water nearby. Pets are allowed but must be on a leash. West Lake, Lions Club and Puri Crest are handicap accessible. Red Oak and Puri Crest have playgrounds. West Lake, Red Oak, and Bay View provide great Pierce Lake views.
