About
The Rocketry Organization of California (ROC) serves the Southern California region with monthly high power launches at Lucerne Dry Lake Bed in Lucerne Valley, CA. The organization is volunteer-run and is affiliated with NAR Section #538 and TRA Prefecture #48. Their monthly launches occur on the 2nd Saturday of the month, conditions permitting, and they hold multi-day ROCStock events in April and November. The FAA waiver is to 7,000′ AGL. The launch site is located at Lucerne Dry Lake, and attendees must check in at registration and sign a liability release form. Spectators and flyers will be given a wristband to indicate registration.
