Located above the Pacific Ocean at the Presidio’s highest point, Rob Hill offers an unforgettable national park campground experience. Generations of people have slept under the stars at the Presidio’s Rob Hill, one of just two campgrounds in San Francisco. Open for public tent camping from April 1 to October 31, Rob Hill offers four group campsites that each can welcome up to 30 people. During the offseason, from November to March, visitors can access the Rob Hill Campground day use area for picnicking. Rob Hill is now available for day use during the off-season, providing access to all of the campground amenities, including grills and campfire circles. Experience the many recreational opportunities the Presidio of San Francisco has to offer, including hiking and biking trails, scenic overlooks, beaches, and so much more.
