ROAM Adventure Basecamp is a modern trailside camping and outdoor sports venue located in Seeley, Wisconsin, 10 miles north of Hayward, nestled in the heart of the CAMBA trail system with over 300 miles of marked and mapped trails. The basecamp offers 30 campsites plus 4 contemporary winterized cabins adjacent to premier single-track mountain biking trails and the famed American Birkebeiner ski trail. Guests can unload and set up once, then access adventures directly from their site without reloading gear before each activity. The facility features a wood-fired Finnish sauna and eco-friendly, state-of-the-art shower facility with heated floors. With direct access to over 1.5 million acres of county and national forest, visitors can enjoy mountain biking, trail running, hiking, paddling on the St. Croix National Scenic Riverway and Spider Chain of lakes, swimming at Silverthorn Lake, and winter activities including 70+ miles of groomed FAT bike and snowshoe trails plus 90k of cross-country skiing on the Birkie Trail.
