Riverview Park Campground is located on the north edge of Marshalltown along Highway 14 adjacent to the Iowa River within Riverview Park at 402 Woodland Street. The Campground accommodates large RVs, with drive-through sites. It features 10 full hookup sites, 60 electric sites, a shower house with hot water and flush toilets, a dump station, two open-air picnic shelters, picnic tables, fire rings, and mature trees. The campground is open annually as weather permits, mid-April through the end of October. Campsites are first come, first serve, and the campground has no capacity for reservations. The surrounding Riverview Park features three enclosed rentable buildings, three open-air shelters, playground areas, tennis courts, basketball courts, an 18-hole disc golf course, a dog park, beautiful flower gardens, and three enclosed buildings available for rental. The campground is an access to the hard-surfaced Linn Creek Recreational Trail, which connects to the Iowa River's Edge Trail heading northwest toward Albion.
