Located at 227 Nassau Street within the 120-acre Riverside Park on the banks of the Minnesota River in historic Saint Peter, Riverside Park Campgrounds offers 11 camper/electric sites and 5 tent sites. The park contains nearly 2,000 feet of frontage on the Minnesota River and its related backwaters, with a designated state canoe route known for its large walleyes and catfish. Visitors can enjoy miles of hiking, biking, cross-country skiing, and snowmobile trails. Nearby facilities include churches, gas stations, grocery stores, restaurants, and downtown shopping. The campground is open May 1 - October 31, and reservations can be made online or at the Recreation and Leisure Services Office.
