River Point Campground is a scenic 27-site facility located on the western shore of Seeley Lake within Lolo National Forest, bordered by the Clearwater River to the north. The campground is renowned for its sweeping views of the eastern shoreline, surrounding peaks, and towering old growth Western Larch trees, many over 500 years old. Five sites offer direct river-front access, and a short walk leads to beach-front day-use picnic areas and a roped swimming beach. The campground operates seasonally from the Friday before Memorial Day through the Tuesday after Labor Day and is popular for swimming, fishing, biking, paddling, and wildlife viewing. Nearby Seeley Lake offers boat and canoe rentals, guide services, and full amenities, while Glacier National Park and Missoula are accessible as day trips.
