Riley Horse Campground is located in the Mt. Hood National Forest. Dispersed camping, or camping outside of designated campgrounds, is a great way to enjoy the peace and solitude of the Forest. The campground is suitable for horse riding and camping. The surrounding area offers various recreational opportunities such as biking, climbing and caving, fishing, hiking, horse riding and camping, hunting & shooting, off-highway vehicles (OHV), water activities, and winter sports. The Barlow Ranger District is located east of the Cascades crest and encompasses about 280,000 acres.
