Renegade Campground is located in the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest, one of the largest and most visited National Forests in the country. The forest spans northern Utah and stretches into southeastern Idaho and southwestern Wyoming, offering breathtaking landscapes, endless recreation, and something for every adventurer. The campground provides the inside scoop on all the best spots, from campgrounds and day-use areas to boat launches and trailheads. Visitors can enjoy camping and picnicking under starry skies, hiking, mountain biking, and climbing epic trails, fishing, boating, paddleboarding, and swimming, and winter fun like skiing, snowboarding, and snowmobiling. The forest is home to a diverse range of ecosystems and recreation opportunities, with 135 campgrounds, day-use areas, boat launches, and trailheads across its seven Ranger Districts. The forest's name reflects its history and cultural significance, with the Cache National Forest, Wasatch National Forest, and Uinta National Forest unified in 2007 to create the expansive Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest.
