Welcome to Fort Bridger Rendezvous, a mountain man rendezvous in celebration of the Fur Trade Rendezvous Era that occurred in the Rocky Mountains between 1825-1840. Held annually the first weekend of September at Fort Bridger Wyoming, this Mountain Man Rendezvous is an experience your family will be sure to remember for years. The event features authentic dress, shopping, contests, competitions, various entertainment, kids' games, primitive traders, and primitive demonstrations of the Fur Trade Era and The Colonial Era. The Fort Bridger State Historic Site includes 37 acres with 27 historic structures, 4 historic replica structures, and 6 modern structures. Some natural historic sights you will find at Fort Bridger include the Groshon Creek, aspen groves, and many historic pines from the military era. There are also many archaeological digs currently being conducted on site.
