The resort offers excellent fishing facilities including a 170-foot handicap-accessible dock, rental boats, fishing and swimming pontoons, and various water activities. The property is home to wildlife including deer, bald eagles, osprey, herons, mink, otter, and beaver, and the resort raises 18,000-25,000 rainbow trout annually in a net pen. Located southeast of Seattle, Rainbow RV Resort serves as an ideal base for exploring nearby attractions including Mount Rainier National Park, NW Trek Wildlife Park, the Elbe Steam Train, and Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium. The resort features fire pits and scenic views of Lake Tanwax and Mount Rainier.
