About

Camp Almanor is a private PSEA member camp located on the shores of Lake Almanor, just south of Lassen Volcanic National Park in Northern California. Lake Almanor is one of the largest artificial lakes in California, featuring 52 miles of shoreline and crystal-clear blue waters with summer temperatures around 70 degrees. The camp offers excellent opportunities for water recreation including boating, water-skiing, kayaking, SUP, and fishing for bluegill, trout, and bullhead. Beyond water activities, the region features extensive trails for hiking and mountain biking with spectacular scenery, including the nearly 10-mile paved Lakeside Trail accessible to wheelchairs, pedestrians, and bicycles. Several golf courses are located nearby. The camp provides a sandy beach, playground, boat launch access, and various amenities including Wi-Fi, laundry facilities, and barbecues.
