The Jayhawk Area Council serves Scouting in the Topeka, Kansas area, representing Scouting America in 11 counties of Northeast Kansas. The council's mission is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law. The Jayhawk Area Council is excited to invite Scouts to participate in Scouts Read Sacred Texts Worldwide, a meaningful opportunity for youth to connect with their faith through reading.
