About

Piatt Park Gorge is a secluded gem full of old growth appalacian hardwoods and majestic hemlocks. There is a really cool gorge/cave area that you can scramble through and a handful of beautiful waterfalls. The park offers 10 camping sites, a picnic shelter/house, a playground, and a handicapped shower house/restroom. Visitors can hike through the gorge and cave area, and enjoy scenic views of the surrounding natural beauty. Wild turkey and deer are among the larger species of wildlife that may be encountered in this truly special place.
