Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park Campground is situated on or near the Big Sur River. The campground offers 189 RV and tent sites, a Campfire Center with evening programs during peak season, and interpretive walks and education programs year-round. Reservations fill up six months in advance, and campsites cannot be reserved online or by phone within a 48-hour arrival window. The campground has a maximum stay limit of seven consecutive nights during peak season and a maximum length of stay per calendar year of 30 days. Each campsite includes a parking area, a fire pit, and a picnic table, but no hookups are provided. Fresh water, hot showers, and toilets are located throughout the campground.
