Pat Mayse East Campground is located on the banks of Pat Mayse Lake in the Red River Basin in Lamar County, Texas. The lake covers almost 6,000 acres with 67 miles of shoreline, situated among gently rolling grasslands and mixed hardwood forests studded with mature pines. This year-round campground offers easy access to developed park areas and serves as a haven for families enjoying camping, picnicking, swimming, boating, fishing, and other outdoor recreation. The area provides excellent opportunities for fishing largemouth bass, white crappie, sunfish, striped bass, and catfish, as well as hunting for upland game and whitetail deer. Wildlife is abundant in the surrounding area, and equestrian trails are available right next to the campground.
