The Mountrail County park board invites you to spend your next summer vacation or fishing trip at Van Hook Recreation Area and Parshall Bay Rec Area, located on the north shore of Lake Sakakawea's 'The Arm'. Both parks offer a wide variety of amenities. The parks have great boat access to their many concrete ramps, and Lake Sakakawea water levels are at full pool. The area is perfect for fishing and other water activities.
