About
The Paddy Flat Guard Station is located in the Payette National Forest of central Idaho. Guests enjoy the remote area for its hunting opportunities and abundance of hiking, biking, horseback riding and off-highway vehicle roads and trails. Abundant streams and numerous alpine lakes within travel distance offer fantastic fishing opportunities. The guard station offers two cabins for rental, each fully renovated in 2024. The cabins are equipped with limited kitchen utensils and are accessible by an access ramp. The area is a 'Pack-It-In, Pack-It-Out' facility, requiring visitors to clean up after use and take all trash with them. Pets are allowed, but owners must clean up after and maintain control of their animals. Firewood gathering is available in the surrounding forest, but visitors must obtain local firewood and burn it on-site. No camping is allowed at the guard station, but nearby Kennally Creek Campground and dispersed campsites are available.
