Pace Bend Park is a 1,368-acre park popular for camping on the cliffs overlooking Lake Travis, swimming on a beach, boating, and exploring the Hill Country beauty with miles of hike, bike, and equestrian trails. The park offers improved campsites (20) with amenities like barbecue grills, fire rings, out-house style toilets, picnic tables, and an RV dump station. Primitive camping is also available at designated campsites in the Kate and Johnson cove and North Gracy campgrounds, with 30 and 15 sites respectively. The park is open from sunrise to civil twilight, and boat ramps are available 24 hours a day. Visitors can enjoy fishing, swimming, and other activities, but should note that Travis County Parks does not provide any equipment. Reservations are highly recommended, especially for improved campsites.
